On 23 May 2023, a critical meeting was held at the Permanent Secretariat of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) at Bastos, Yaoundé. The conference brought together representatives of the extended college of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) who are members of the Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) to discuss preparations for the EITI Validation scheduled for October.

The meeting was marked by the participation of various CSOs, each of which has a crucial role to play in achieving this Validation. The moderator, Mr MBALLA MBALLA Jean from CRADEC, warmly welcomed the participants and underlined the importance of this face-to-face meeting to strengthen collaboration.

On September 15, 2022 in Yaoundé, the Consortium of CSOs ADIN, AFROLEADERSHIP, CRADEC, DMJ and Transparency International Cameroon, organized a workshop for the presentation and appropriation of the digital platform on the monitoring of the Public Order in Cameroon, www.cameroon-ocd.org . About thirty people from public administrations, local authorities and technical development partners, CSOs, youths involved in participatory and inclusive development through public finance and natural resource management for the implementation of the SDGs in Cameroon took part in the workshop.

Facilitate the understanding of the Open Contracting Partnership (OCP) and the Open Contracting Data Standards (OCDS); Understand the different technologies used for the development of the digital platform; and Engage municipal elected officials for a better involvement in the monitoring of public procurement; were the objectives to be achieved at the beginning of these three (03) days of training organized by the ADIN Consortium, AfroLeadership, CRADEC, DMJ and TI-Cameroon from June 14 to 16, 2022 at the Hotel TOU'NGOU, Yaoundé.

The implementation of the "Strengthening Fiscal Justice" project funded by the Norwegian Development Agency (NORAD) and coordinated by Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA), therefore provides an opportunity for CSOs to make their voices heard by the Government through the Senators and Deputies who are members of the Platform for Parliamentary-Civil Society Dialogue on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Action. A preparatory workshop for an inclusive BOD is organised for this purpose by CRADEC this 13th June 2022.
